The first step in your home buying journey will be to connect with a lender to get a mortgage pre-approval letter. This a tool that will let me know how much home that you are able to purchase based on information that you provide a lender. Since this is such an important step of the process and because I work hand in hand with the lender to get you to the closing table, it is imperative to choose a great lender.

Each of the lenders on this list are well versed in different mortgages that are available. I have personally vetted each one and am happy to partner with any of them. If you are coming to me with a lender that you are already working with and would like to stay with them, I am more than happy to partner with them throughout your home buying journey.

What the loan officer will need from you!

Generally, a lender will ask for the following:

A completed application.

Along with the following documents:

Copy of all W2’s for last 2 years for all borrowers
Copy of last 30 day LES or pay stubs for all borrowers
Copy of all Driver Licenses for all borrowers
Copy of last two months bank statements on all accounts from all borrowers (must provide all pages even if blank)
Copy of any VA disability Income award letter, pension income or retirement income (if applicable)
Copy of military PCS orders (if applicable).

Depending on how long it takes for them to find a house, we will ask for the following if needed:

Updated bank statements
Updated paystubs

Keep in mind, all lenders are different, so the information above is just generalized.
